We caught up with Atlantic County Republican Chairman Don Purdy, who said:
“We have just nominated the strongest and most united ticket in Atlantic County history,” said Purdy.
The Atlantic County Republicans pursuit of unity appears to have paid significant dividends, as it has created an environment whereby no contested June Primary elections are anticipated.
Purdy also advised that Atlantic County Clerk Joe Giralo is the 2023 Republican of the Year "Seashell Award" recipient.
”No one works harder than Joe Giralo,” said Purdy .
On the Democratic side, they’ve been forced to go right down to the wire and are having significant challenges this year to field a complete ticket.
We forecast that by tomorrow evening, the Democrats will have selected and nominated a full slate of candidates.
