Two Atlantic County, NJ, Men Guilty Of Firearms & Drugs

The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office has done it, again, gaining two more guilty pleas for firearms and narcotics offenses.

On Monday, June 29, 2026, Joshua E. Brickhouse, 34 years old, from of Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, pleaded guilty before New Jersey Duoerior Court Judge Donna Taylor to:

second-degree possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose.
second-degree certain persons not to possess weapons.
fourth-degree possession of a large-capacity ammunition magazine.

Under the terms of his guilty plea, Brickhouse may receive a sentence of 14 years in New Jersey State Prison, along with seven-years of parole ineligibility.

Nathaniel Fisher

Brickhouse's codefendant is Nathaniel Fisher, 34 years old, from Atlantic City, New Jersey, who pleaded guilty to :

second-degree possession of a firearm while committing a CDS offense.
second-degree certain persons not to possess weapons.
third-degree possession with the intent to distribute fentanyl.

Fisher may also be sentenced to 14 years in New Jersey State Prison , along with five-years of parole ineligibility.

Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Narrative

On October 22, 2025, members of the Galloway Township Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop due to the registered owner's driver's license being expired. The female driver had a suspended license.
The vehicle was registered to Brickhouse's mother per
Brickhouse's statements to police. Brickhouse was the front seat passenger and had a $1,500 traffic warrant so he was asked to step out the car. Police saw in plain view a handgun underneath the front passenger seat. That handgun was a 40 S& W handgun with a 30-round ammunition magazine and switch, making it fully automatic. All occupants were taken out of the car and police found an additional handgun, a 9mm Luger handgun with an extended magazine, in a book bag on the floor by Nathaniel Fisher's feet in the backseat. The bookbag contained Fisher's identification in the bag. Also found in the back passenger seat where Fisher and a female were seated were 100 bags of suspected heroin/fentanyl. Police also recovered packs of empty baggies and another pack of sandwich bags in the center console and a digital scale. Brickhouse had over $1,000.00 on his person and Fisher had over $100.00 on his person. Both males have prior criminal convictions that make them individuals who can not possess firearms, said the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.
