Here's where you may need to give yourself a few extra minutes during the week of November 27th, 2023.

Egg Harbor Township

  • Monday through Wednesday: watch for an alternating traffic pattern on Seaview Harbor.
  • Tuesday through Friday: work will continue on Mill Road near the Garden State Parkway; watch for lane shifts or temporary closures.
  • Lakes Creek Bridge Replacement: Bevis Mill Rd. remains closed from the intersection of School House Lane and Robert Best Road due to bridge replacement. That project is scheduled to end in December.

Ocean Heights Avenue

During the evening and overnight hours of Tuesday, November 28th, Ocean Heights Avenue will be closed to all traffic between Blackman Road and Route 9 from 7 PM to 5 AM for bridge joint work. This will impact drivers to and from EHT, Linwood, and Somers Point.

Galloway Township

Tuesday through Thursday: Great Creek Road will be closed to through traffic from Wrangleboro Road to Pitney Road from 7 AM to 3:30 PM.

A detour will be in place utilizing Wrangleboro, Jimmie Leeds, and Pitney Roads. This may impact drivers going to and from Absegami High School.

Additionally, Elaine Drive will be closed at Dennis Drive and Mattix Run will only be accessible from the Wrangleboro Rd. intersection with Great Creek Rd.
