Atlantic County, NJ Voters: There is an Issue With Vote By Mail

This is a very important public service announcement for those who will be voting by mail in this year’s General Election in Atlantic County, New Jersey.

Atlantic County Clerk Joe Giralo prides himself on not making mistakes on election ballots or any of the paperwork regarding elections.

A mistake has occurred with the vote by mail portion of this year’s General Election.

Fortunately, the mistake is not on the actual election ballots, rather, on the vote by mail election instructions sheet.

The instructions sheet inadvertently list the election date as November 7, 2024 … when the actual general election date is Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

Here is the letter that includes a mistake, referring to Election Day as taking place on Tuesday, November 7, when the actual election date is Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

Giralo is quite concerned about the mistake and he is beginning a media blitz to get the word out about this.

Giralo did the first on-air interview with us this morning, Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at 7:35 a.m. on WPG Talk Radio 95.5

Giralo explained that the instruction letter that was placed in the envelope was from last year, when the General Election debate was November 7, 2023.

The letter didn’t include the year, however, the confusion caused by November 7 being listed, makes it appear as though this year’s election is November 7, which it is not.

So that there is no confusion, General Election Day is Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

Your early voting efforts must take place on, or before November 5, 2024.

Vote by mail ballots should be postmarked by November 5, 2024.
