For the second day in a row, health officials in Atlantic County reported no deaths related to COVID-19.

However, 19 more residents have tested positive for the virus, including six men (ages 29 to 84) and 13 women (ages 19-67).

With today's numbers, 3,592 county residents have tested positive for COVID-19 and 1,994 have been cleared as recovered. A total of 241 residents have died.

On Saturday, the county announced two men from Hammonton died from the virus and 34 people had tested positive.

Atlantic County will continue to provide COVID-19 testing at the public works complex on Route 9 in Northfield from 9 to 11:30AM every Tuesday this month. However, due to Tropical Storm Isaias, testing for tomorrow (Tuesday, August 4th) has been rescheduled to this Thursday, August 6th. Anyone with an appointment has been automatically rescheduled for later this week.
