For the tenth consecutive day, officials in Atlantic County have reported no new deaths related to COVID-19.

Officials say Tuesday's news marks the longest period of time without a fatality caused by the virus since April 2nd, the date of the first reported death in the county.

Meanwhile, 26 more residents -- 15 men (ages 7 to 82) and 11 women (ages 16 to 76) -- have tested positive for COVID-19. Today's numbers brings the cumulative total to 3,700 with 2,141 county residents having been cleared as recovered.

The countywide total of deaths related to the virus remains at 241.

Atlantic County will continue to provide COVID-19 testing at the public works facility on Route 9 in Northfield each Tuesday this month from 9:00 to 11:30 AM. Tests are available for both symptomatic and asymptomatic county residents with or without a doctor’s prescription. To make an appointment and for more information, visit the county's website.
