Bank Robbed in Northfield, NJ; Police Search For Suspect
Authorities in Northfield are searching for a man who robbed a bank on Tilton Road Thursday evening.
The Northfield Police Department says the crime happened around 6:30 at Parke Bank, across the street from Chido Burrito.
According to officials, a man entered the bank, approached a teller, and verbally ordered that money be put into a bag. The suspect did not produce a weapon or note.
After receiving money from the teller, he reportedly left on foot heading westbound on Tilton Road.
A search of the area, which included agents with the FBI and the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office, which used a drone in an attempt to find the suspect, did not produce any results.
Description
The suspect is described as a white male, 45 to 55 years old, 5' 7" to 5' 10" tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a black short-sleeved shirt over a grey long-sleeved shirt, black pants, dark-colored shoes, a camouflaged baseball cap, and a black surgical-type mask.
