BIG BUCKS! South Jersey Convenience Store Sells Winning $1 Million Lottery Ticket
Winner, winner, chicken dinner! Someone in South Jersey is currently holding a winning $1 million lottery ticket.
Officials with the New Jersey Lottery said one ticket matched all five white balls drawn for the Wednesday, August 11th, Powerball drawing, and that ticket is worth a million bucks.
The winning ticket was sold at Speed Mart on Park Blvd. in Clementon, Camden County.
Additionally, two other lottery tickets sold in the state matched four of the five white balls -- one ticket is worth $50,000 while the other is worth $150,000 since it was purchased with Power Play. Those tickets were sold in Hudson and Passaic Counties.
The winning numbers for Wednesday night's drawing were 12, 18, 20, 29, and 30. The Red Power Ball was 16. The Multiplier number was 03.
With no big winner, the Powerball jackpot rolls to $258,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Saturday night.
Also on Wednesday, another very lucky person in the Garden State won over $850,000 playing Jersey Cash 5. The winning ticket for this game was purchased at a store in Hewitt, Passaic County.
South Jersey has been on a lottery winning streak lately. Just last week, a winning Mega Millions ticket worth $30,000 was sold at Circle Liquor Store on MacArthur Blvd. in Somers Point.
