The body of a second missing swimmer was located Thursday morning one week after two teenagers struggled against a strong rip current and drowned in the ocean off of Atlantic City.

Police say a person walking on the beach at Morris Avenue in Atlantic City located the body of 15-year-old Ramon Quinn around 9:15 Thursday morning.

The body of the other swimmer, 16-year-old Kaliyah Hand, was recovered earlier this week in Margate.

This tragic story began on the evening on June 15th when crews received calls about two swimmers drowning in the ocean off of Kentucky Avenue in Atlantic City. Witnesses say a group of people were in the ocean when Hand was pulled away from the shore by a rip current. Quinn attempted to rescue Hand but they were both pulled further out to sea. Hand and Quinn struggled in the water before being pulled under.

Numerous rescue agencies searched for the two missing swimmers without success.
