Bon appétit … Atlantic City Food Truck Opens At ‘The Walk’
I’m a huge fan of a high quality food truck. They’re just wonderful and are capable of preparing and serving fantastic meals.
Here’s a fine example of this concept that has just opened in Atlantic City.
Yesterday, Friday, October 28, 2022, the “We Are AC Food Truck” opened at “The Walk,” with a nice ribbon cutting ceremony.
The ‘We Are AC Food Truck” is the product of the Ideal Institute of Technology, which is a career college in Atlantic County, New Jersey.
This project is an example of a new social enterprise. It’s incredibly exciting and will provide local youth with great opportunities in business.
The community project is sponsored by El Gran Chalan Peruvian Restaurant and owner Alberto Robalino-Pasmino.
It is funded through a grant from OCEAN Inc. and CEO Channell Wilkins.
The “We Are AC Food Truck” is considered to be a first of its kind. It is directly managed and operated by Atlantic City and Atlantic County youth, who are enrolled at Ideal's First Step to Career program.
This is a golden opportunity for the youth participants. They will receive paid entrepreneurship training and learn everything there is to know about running a food truck operation.
It even gets better. Those who successfully complete the program, will have the opportunity to potentially own their own food truck that will be funded by angel investors.
The “We Are AC Food Truck” will serve breakfast and lunch and they will offer a variety of items such as specialty egg sandwiches to tacos and Brazilian wraps.
The hours of operation will from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., daily.

The “We Are AC Food Truck” is a great addition to the Atlantic City restaurant scene.
