Videos of five fights have been posted since the BRHS Fights Facebook page was created on March 14. They include footage of two girls grappling and pulling each other's hair and two boys fighting in the lunchroom.

The page has 991 "likes" as of Wednesday morning and was still active.

In an email to the Courier News of Bridgewater, Schools Superintendent Michael Schilder wrote there have been no fewer than seven fights from March 1 through March 15. There had only been five fights since September prior to March 1.

Schilder and police are trying to learn who set up the page. The district wants the videos removed. However, that may be easier said than done.

“The district has no jurisdiction for Facebook sites and has no legal recourse to remove the information posted,” Schools Superintendent Michael Schilder said his email. “We are trying to find who is hosting this site and will ask him/her to remove the fights.”

Bridgewater Police Capt. Manny Caravela told the paper that Tuesday marked the first he had heard of the Facebook page.
