Cape May, NJ, Philadelphia Eagles Sand Sculpture is Great (Photos)
Our thanks and appreciation to John Cooke, the General Manager of The Sea Crest Inn, located on Beach Avenue in Cape May City, New Jersey.
Cooke took some great photos of a wonderful Philadelphia Eagles sand sculpture that he came across on the beach in Cape May City.
John wrote on The Cape May Live Facebook page:
“Timing is everything. I stumbled upon the artist Brendan Schaffer fine-tuning and doing maintenance on his Eagles Sand Sculpture. Brendan told me that it took close to 8 hours with no water and softer sand, wrote Cooke.”
Schaffer’s excellent Philadelphia Eagles themed sand sculpture was finished prior to yesterday’s 55-23 rout over The Washington Commanders in the NFL, NFC Championship game … which has earned The Eagles a trip to Super Bowl 59.
The Eagles will face The Kansas City Chiefs, who narrowly defeated The Buffalo Bills 32-29th yesterday’s AFC Championship game.
The Super Bowl 59 will take place on Sunday, February 9, 2025 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The Kansas City Chiefs are the two-time defending Super Bowl Champions.
This is a Super Bowl rematch from two years ago, when The Chiefs defeated The Eagles 38-35 in a real nail-biter.
We are looking forward to Schaffer’s Philadelphia Eagles sand sculpture to endure the next two weeks in the run-up to The Super Bowl.
Below are John Cooke photos of Schaffer’s sand sculpture at various stages:
