Ceiling Collapses at Closed Atlantic City Casino
A portion of the ceiling collapsed at a shuttered Atlantic City casino.
The Press of Atlantic City reports that the collapse at the Atlantic Club Casino, which happened early Wednesday morning, resulted in debris being scattered all over the entrance of the closed casino's driveway. Police and firefighters were not called to the scene.
The Atlantic Club shut its doors for good in January, 2014. There was a deal in place to bring a water park to the property but that deal eventually fell through.
The former site of the Atlantic Club is owned by a company based in Clearwater, FL, who bought the casino for $13.5 million dollars.
