An Atlantic City man is facing a list of charges after cops say he stabbed and robbed a Mays Landing man earlier this month.

The ACPD says on February 1st, officers responded to the 200 block of North South Carolina Avenue for a report of a man who had been stabbed. Arriving officers found the victim, a 53-year-old man from Mays Landing, suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was taken to ARMC-City for treatment of serious injuries.

On Wednesday, cops arrested 41-year-old Laquay Tucker of Atlantic City at Kentucky and Atlantic Avenues and charged him with various crimes stemming from the stabbing.

Authorities say after he stabbed the victim, Tucker stole the man’s money. At the time of his arrest, Tucker was found in possession of a knife, 19 bags of heroin, and seven grams of marijuana.

Tucker has been charged with robbery, aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
