Cops: PA Man Arrested for Stabbing a Man in the Face at Burlington Co., NJ, Wawa
A man from Pennsylvania has turned himself in to police for allegedly stabbing one person in the face and running over another at a Burlington County Wawa last month.
25-year-old Anthony Cordero of Levittown, PA, surrendered at the Edgewater Park Police Department Tuesday morning. He has been charged with four counts of terroristic threats, two counts of aggravated assault, assault by auto, and related weapon offenses.
The incident during the early morning hours of Sunday, February 20th, according to WPVI-TV, appears to have started as a simple argument.
"[It] sounds like just a group of subjects got into an argument over a simple 'what are you looking at?" said Lt. John Harris of the Edgewater Township Police Department to 6ABC.
According to police, as the argument escalated, one person was stabbed near his jaw and another was run over in the parking lot.
Neither victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Cordero was being held in the Burlington County Jail.
