
County Offers Solution To Repair Terrible Atlantic City, NJ, Roads
This is no secret to anyone. The current condition of many Atlantic City roads is abysmal.
Atlantic City Councilman Reveals Atlantic County Executive Offer
Atlantic City Councilman George Tibbitt revealed on-air this morning that Atlantic County Executive Dennis Levinson made a great offer to help Atlantic City.
Levinson told Tibbitt that he is willing to do the following:
- Front the money to fix Atlantic City roads that are in significant disrepair. The County would expect the City of Atlantic City to repay the money back to the county.
- County will handle the competitive bidding process.
- Atlantic County is wIlling to manage the entire roads repair project.
Why Is The County Needed Here?
The City of Atlantic City has millions of dollars in surplus, yet many roads have been neglected by Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small for years. Why?
Atlantic City Councilman George Tibbitt has been critical of Small for neglecting the issue of road maintenance in Atlantic City.

Tibbitt Is Supportive of Levinson’s Offer
Tibbitt appeared on-air with me this morning. He stated that he supports the idea because Levinson and The County of Atlantic have a demonstrated track record of doing big jobs on time and on budget.
Election Day for Small is fast-approaching on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 … yet, many Atlantic City roads remain in terrible disrepair.
Senator Polistina Has Urged Levinson To Step-Up & Help Atlantic City
New Jersey Senator Vince Polistina has been critical of Levinson and has urged him to help Atlantic City.
This is an opportunity for Levinson to follow Polistina’s lead and do so.
