Two people, one from Lindenwold and another from Egg Harbor City, were killed in a crash in Williamstown over the weekend.

Monroe Township Police say 18-year-old Joshua Taylor of Lindenwold was driving a car that was reported stolen from the Park Lane Apartments in Atlantic City when he crashed head-on into another car, driven by 39-year-old Olubola Sode of Egg Harbor City, Sunday afternoon on the Black Horse Pike.

Cops tell the Courier-Post both cars were severely damaged and both drivers were trapped in their vehicles; both died of their injuries at the scene. Witnesses say Taylor was driving erratically for several miles before the crash.

The Black Horse Pike was closed for several hours after the crash. Anyone who may have witnessed anything is asked to contact Monroe Township Police at (856) 728-9800.
