We have traveled throughout Atlantic and Cape May Counties in search of the best seafood soups.

Our list is hard-earned, diverse, and sensational.

We found what we believe are the very best versions of:

  • Crab Bisque
  • Lobster Bisque
  • Atlantic Seafood Chowder
  • Crawfish Chowder
  • Clam Chowder (both white and red)
  • Seafood Chowder (crab, shrimp and scallops)
  • The current, 8-year defending Cape May City Champion Chowder
  • Corn and Crab Chowder

I hope that you agree that soup is such a great comfort food.

Many think about soup during only the winter months. For me, I see it as a year-round proposition.

I love soup as much in the summer, as I do during the cold, winter season.

We are very fortunate to have so many outstanding casino and non-casino restaurants to choose from.

The Atlantic County and Cape May County areas have some of the finest restaurants in America.

I have a number of favorite soups, including the finest crab bisque soup that I’ve ever had from The Crab Trap in Somers Point, New Jersey … along with the non-seafood soup options … the garden vegetable and chicken matzoh ball soups at Gary’s Restaurant in Pleasantville, New Jersey.

Here’s a bonus soup offering that is also not of the seafood variety. I love the tomato basil soup available at the Rose & Crown Dining Room, located at Disney’s EPCOT and Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

Before you get to see our wonderful photo gallery of seafood soups below, here is a look at the tomato basil soup from the Rose & Crown Dining Room. The croutons are homemade in the restaurant, and the flavor of this soup is just sensational.
