Authorities are investigating the fatal shooting of a 28-year-old man on Wednesday morning in Gloucester Township.

Camden County Prosecutor Grace MacAulay's office says just after 3 AM, the Gloucester Township Police Department received a 911 call for a person shot at the 800 block of North Black Horse Pike.

Officers arrived and located a man who had been shot. The victim was identified as 28-year-old Tarik Green of Millville.

Green was transported to Jefferson Hospital in Stratford and he was pronounced dead at about 4:45 AM.
