Do You Know Where Your Beach Tag Money is Going?
Have you ever wondered where all the money for your beach tags go?
It goes towards maintaining our beaches and resources for our protective units -- a.k.a. lifeguards.
However, the Wildwood Crest Beach Patrol serves one of the few free beaches in New Jersey. As a result, they are unable to generate funds from beach tags, which provides support for special performance equipment to other beach patrols that do.
In which case, competitions play an integral part for the motivation of the Wildwood lifeguards to maintain their fitness levels. But without the necessary equipment, it is difficult to reach and/or maintain maximum performance expectations.
Therefore, the Wildwood Crest Beach Patrol is asking for your help to purchase a high performance competition paddle board.
Equipment such as this has evolved as a primary tool for water rescue, and with your contribution, they hope to raise enough money to obtain a new board by the end of the 2017 summer season!
Your generous donation will help ensure that this beach patrol will be able to utilize the most contemporary resources available to lifeguards.
You can help show your support for the Wildwood Crest Beach Patrol through a donation, or simply by sharing this story to help spread the word.
