
Police in Egg Harbor Twp., NJ, Investigating Assault at Nature Reserve
Authorities in Egg Harbor Township are investigating an assault at the Nature Reserve earlier this week.
Victim Seriously Injured
Police say the incident happened Wednesday night, July 23rd, after the park on Zion Road was closed.
At the scene, cops found a victim who was treated by EHT EMS personnel and taken to a local hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
No Threat to the Public
EHT Police said in a press release,
As the safety and well-being of our community members who enjoy the Nature Reserve are our top priorities, please know there is no active or ongoing threat to the public. This incident appears to be an isolated incident.
As a reminder, the park closes at dusk and/or 8:30 PM.
Investigation Continues
This matter remains under investigation and no further information was released.
