
Egg Harbor Township, NJ, DWI — Crash & Assault By Auto
The Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey Police Department has confirmed that a Pleasantville man has been charged with multiple offenses related to intoxicated driving.
What Happened?

On Saturday, August 8, 2026 at about 8:00 a.m. the Egg Harbor Township Police Department responded to the area of the Black Horse Pike & Oxford Place in the West Atlantic City section of Egg Harbor Township regarding a motor vehicle crash — because a car hit a telephone pole.
The Egg Harbor Township Police Department Has Released The Following Information

Officers found a vehicle into a telephone pole with wires down in the roadway and sidewalk. The vehicle also ran over a fire hydrant. The driver was identified as, 23 year old, Franklin Espinoza-Bustillo of Pleasantville. While investigating the motor vehicle crash it was determined that Espinoza-Bustillo was intoxicated and he was arrested at the scene. The front seat passenger was injured and he was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, said the Egg Harbor Township Police Department.
Espinoza-Bustillo Was Charged With The Following

- Driving While Intoxicated along with numerous other traffic offenses.
- Criminally charged with Assault by Auto.
Espinoza-Bustillo was released to a sober adult pursuant to John's Law.
