Egg Harbor Township, NJ, Man Is Guilty Of Narcotics & Firearms

An Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey Police Department and New Jersey State Police Crime Suppression South Unit collaboration has led to a guilty plea.

Kirk I. Eason Pleads Guilty — Narcotics & Firearms

On Monday, August 31, 2026, Kirk I. Eason, 42 years old, from Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey pleaded guilty before New Jersey Superior Court Judge Donna Taylor.

Eason pled guilty to:

second-degree possession with the intent to distribute cocaine.
second degree possession with the intent to distribute heroin and fentanyl.
fourth degree possession of hollow point ammunition,.
second-degree certain persons not to possess weapons.

It is up to Taylor to decide, however, Eason is expected to be sentenced to 10 years in New Jersey State Prison — He will not he eligible for five years.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office has released the following information:

On January 22, 2025, search warrants were executed after a New Jersey State Police Crime Suppression South Unit and Egg Harbor Township Police Department investigation into the illegal narcotics distribution of Eason. Police recovered over a half ounce of cocaine, over a half ounce of heroin mixed with fentanyl, three firearms, two weapons determined to not be firearms, and hollow point ammunition from Eason's residence. Eason was found to have over $1,700.00 on his person, said the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.
