Authorities in Atlantic City are investigating a fatal shooting on Wednesday night.

Shooting at Apartment Complex

The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office says officers from the Atlantic City Police Department responded to a call of a shooting at 2202 Hamilton Avenue, Apartment D, at about 9:30 PM.

An investigation by the prosecutor's office's Major Crime Unit, in conjunction with the ACPD, revealed one person had been shot and pronounced dead.

Officials say the investigation is ongoing and no other information has been released.
