
FBI Shoots, Kills Philadelphia Kidnapping Suspect in Leonia -Reports
An armed suspect in a kidnapping in Philadelphia was shot and killed by an FBI agant at a house in Leonia Wednesday morning, according to the FBI's Newark office.
Agents from both the Newark and Philadelphia offices were involved in the investigation and confronted the suspect at an apartment around 6 a.m. During a confrontation with several suspects one individual was shot and killed, spokeswoman Doreen Holder told the Townsquare News Network.

The person who had been kidnapped was safely recovered, according to Holder.
Holder did not disclose the circumstances of the kidnapping.
Law enforcement sources told NBC New York the FBI's SWAT team was involved in the confrontation.
