These days it seems as though all you hear about is negative news. Well, here’s a legitimate, good news story.

Progress at the Stockton University Atlantic City Campus expansion project is going very well. We can now provide you with a look at the first images (photo gallery below) and a detailed project status update.

The team behind the project is:

AC Devco is the Developer, President Chris Paladino and the General Contractor is Joe Jingoli.

By all accounts, they do a great job. Their attention to every detail is a masterclass.

To date, Stockton University has invested more than $270 million in Atlantic City. The commitment is massive and this financial investment in Atlantic City has been confirmed in our previous coverage by Dr. Harvey Kesselman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Stockton University.

We have exclusively confirmed that during the past several weeks, installation of the prefabricated panels that incorporate both the structural steel components, along with the metal studs and exterior walls have been accomplished.

From there, metal decking will be installed at each level prior to the proceeding construction of the next floor. The construction schedule calls for the installation to continue through the end of June-beginning of July 2022.

When this stage is accomplished, the building will be considered topped off.

In addition to this, Stockton University will have much more of the interior framing complete, along with the building structure itself.

Stockton’s development team is very mindful of the challenging supply chain issues facing America at this time. For example, they have terra cotta materials being shipped from Germany in advance, so that all required materials will be on hand well ahead of the start of installation.

They are closely monitoring the availability of all other materials, and, have preordered many components, including information technology switches and routers, door hardware, and other aspects of interior construction.

The Stockton University development teams are also working on furniture pricing and the selection process a full 9 months before what used to be the industry standard … in order to avoid any delays with the availability of furnishings, fixtures, and equipment.

They are also working with the Atlantic City Municipal Utilities Authority regarding all water connectivity issues.

Here are exclusive images that we have obtained, which give you a very good look at the current progress to date.

Stockton University is well on its way to making Atlantic City a college-university town.

As Stockton continues to responsibly and effectively broaden its footprint in Atlantic City … the entire city, along with all residents and visitors also directly benefit.
