Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie Said This About Trump
A little political history lesson here today.
Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie enthusiastically endorsed Donald Trump for President of The United States in both 2016 and 2020.
Then, Chris Christie decided that he wanted to be President, again … so, all of a sudden, Christie started saying very bad things about Trump following the 2020 election.
While visiting recently on the Trump deranged ABC television program, “The View,” Christie felt right at home, saying:
Donald Trump is an actor. It's when he opens his mouth that the acting becomes more difficult. The media completely failed the American people during the convention and bought every line from the campaign hook, line, and sinker, said Christie.
Was Trump also an “actor” when Christie enthusiastically supported Trump for two consecutive presidential election cycles?
Christie has gone so politically low, that he has resorted to now to criticizing the entire national Republican Party by trashing the entire “campaign hook, line and sinker.”
Christie should be thrown out of the Republican Party, for his regular Trump and anti-Republican Party tactics.
Right before the Republican National Convention … Christie came out of political hiding and backed his protégé, Bill Palatucci for New Jersey National Committee Member.
Palatucci, like his mentor Christie, are both hopelessly “Never-Trumper.”
Palatucci some how eeked-out a 22-20 victory over Atlantic County Republican Party Chairman Don Purdy.
As I predicted would occur, Palatucci did not vote for Trump to be the Republican Nominee for President at the just completed national convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
I have been told by a member of the New Jersey delegation that an alternate Committee Member had to vote for Trump in place of Palatucci.
In my opinion, had Trump made Christie the Attorney General of The United States of America, Christie would have remained loyal to Trump.
There was no chance that Trump would ever do that.Trump had no plans to ever make Christie the Attorney General.
This led Christie to make an unwise political calculation … to take the road that leaves him with no home within the Republican Party.
NOTE: Christie also promised New Jersey public safety officers that he would never touch their pensions.
Two days after taking the office of Governor, Christie froze their pensions (no Cost of Living Adjustment) for the rest of their lives. They despise him.
Christie has shown a proclivity to make politically despicable decisions.
He has destroyed a once promising electoral career.
