EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP  - Two alleged fugitives, wanted for an armed holdup of a convenience store in North Carolina, find their flight from justice over in Egg Harbor Township.

Carl J. Perry, 24, and Ebbe Perry, 22, of Charlotte, were arrested without incident this morning at the Hi Ho Motel in the township's West Atlantic City section, according to information from EHTPD Detective Captain Christopher Ruef.

Details of the robbery were not disclosed. The joint investigation included the FBI's Violent Crimes Task Force, Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office, and police officers from Atlantic City, Pleasantville, and Egg Harbor Township.

Both men are charged with being fugitives from justice, and remain in the Atlantic County Justice Facility while proceedings begin for their possible extradition. Police said that Carl Perry is also charged with possession of an ounce of marijuana.

Charges are accusations. Defendants are presumed innocent unless, and until, found guilty in a court of law.
