The last week of 2023 proved to be busy for officers with the Galloway Township Police Department.

From December 24th through 30th, they answered 575 calls for service.

Among those calls were seven domestic violence incidents, 16 accidents, 49 motor vehicle summonses were written, there were three DWI incidents, 18 people were arrested, and over 140 emergency medical calls.

Vehicle burglaries were also reported along North Cavesson Drive.

As they routinely do, the Galloway Township Police Department included some notable arrests during that time period in a social media post.

  • December 25th: Louis S. Bell, 68, of Atlantic City, was arrested by Ofc. Thomas Hunter and charged with DWI.
  • December 26th: Carmen J. Casares, 38, of Galloway, was arrested by Ofc. Diamond Fuentes and charged with aggravated assault, resisting arrest, and obstruction.
  • December 27th: Robert P. McNeill, 52, of Galloway, was arrested by Ofc. William Akins and charged with DWI and possession of CDS.
  • December 28th: Devon A. Velardi, 28, of Manahawkin, was arrested by Ofc. Anthony Irizarry and charged with shoplifting and possession of a CDS.
  • December 29th: Dashonn J. Pemberton, 28, of Galloway, was arrested by Ofc. Cody Trout and charged with DWI.
  • December 29th: Michael Maggi, 63, of Galloway, was arrested by Sgt. Ronald Gorneau, Jr., and charged with aggravated assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and obstruction.
  • December 30th: Kerri A. Rudnick, 33, of Galloway, was arrested by Ofc. David LaSassa and charged with assault on a healthcare worker.
  • December 30th: Kassan S. Wilson-Livingston, 27, of Hammonton, was arrested by Ofc. Diamond Fuentes and charged with stalking, criminal mischief, and harassment.
  • December 30th: Sumayyah-Muhammud V. Hobdy, 27, of Jonesboro, GA, was arrested by Ofc. Diamond Fuentes and charged with criminal mischief and harassment.

Arrests are a matter of public record. The public is reminded that charges are accusations and all persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
