The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office has confirmed that Atlantic City, New Jersey Mayor Marty Small has been indicted, yet again.

Smalls’ latest indictment by an Atlantic County Grand Jury took place (yesterday) on Tuesday, December 17, 2024,

Marty Small, Sr., is 50 years old and he resides in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Small has been indicted by an Atlantic County grand jury for third-degree Witness Tampering.

Small has been previously indicted by Atlantic County grand jury on numerous criminal charges involving child abuse. Alleged child abuse of his own daughter.

About Marty Smalls’ latest criminal indictment, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office said:

“It is alleged that during the month of September 2024, while criminal charges against him were pending for abusing his juvenile daughter, J.S., the defendant asked his daughter to do him a favor and "twist up" the story she had previously told police about alleged abuse allegations she made against him specifically by asking her to state that she tripped and fell in her room when her head was injured. This was in reference to an alleged incident on January 13, 2024, when Marty Small, Sr. is alleged to have hit his daughter multiple times in the head with a broom causing her to lose consciousness,” set the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.

This Marty Small incident was investigated by the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office's Special Victims Unit.

Marty Small, his wife La’Quetta Small, who is the superintendent of the Atlantic City public schools and Constance Days-Chapman, who is the principal of Atlantic City high school … have all been indicted by an Atlantic County grand jury for a variety of alleged child abuse and other charges.
