Great Adventure Cancels Record Snowball Fight Attempt — Due to Snow

Great Adventure was planning on helping to attempt to break the world record for the largest snowball fight ever Saturday afternoon... but it was canceled because of snow.

Yes, a snowball fight has been canceled.

Because of snow.

Great Adventure says on their website, "For the safety of our guests and employees the park will remain closed Saturday, Dec. 9 for inclement weather."

Saturday, December 9th, was being promoted as "Snow Day at Six Flags" -- ironically -- and Six Flags parks across the nation are having "one massive family friendly snowball fight."

Just not in New Jersey... because of snow.
