Crab Cake at The Crab Trap

We have never had a bad meal at The Crab Trap, located right off of Route 559, just before the border of Ocean City, New Jersey.

The above is my crab cake from December 26, 2025. The taste and texture was just perfect.

The Mini Crab Bites

This is an appetizer and it is just perfect. You can easily turn it into an entrée, along with a few side dishes.

You get five mini crab bites with each order.

The Crab Trap has many different potato choices, and I also love the stewed tomatoes, about the finest you will find anywhere.

The Best Crab Bisque Soup On The Planet

I have tried many … and, nothing else compares to The Crab Trap. The rich flavor and texture is just perfection and it’s loaded with lump crab meat.

The Crab Trap is one of my favorite restaurants. This wonderful seafood restaurant was established in 1967. Their menu is extensive. We have chosen some of our favorites for this article.

Their mini crab bites are also fabulous. Also pictured is their stewed tomatoes dish. The most delicious I've ever had anywhere.
