
3-year-old Seriously Hurt After Fall From Window in Hamilton Twp., NJ
A young boy was seriously injured when police in Atlantic County say he fell out of a second-story window Thursday evening.
The Hamilton Township Police Department says its officers were called to the 7000 block of Driftwood Lane just before 7:00 for a pediatric emergency.
Child Suffers Serious Injuries in Window Fall
According to officials, an investigation revealed that a three-year-old boy was playing in an upstairs bedroom when he fell through a screen and out a second-floor bedroom window.
Adults were on location and rushed to his aid. The juvenile suffered serious injuries but was conscious when emergency personnel arrived. He was airlifted to Cooper Medical Center for further evaluation and treatment.
A press release on Friday morning did not include any updated information on the child's condition.
Assisting at the scene were the Township of Hamilton Rescue Squad, paramedics, and the Weymouth Fire Company.
