The Millville High School girls softball team season has been forced to hit the pause button.

The Courier Post broke the news that there is a Millville High School investigation regarding alleged harassment, bullying and intimidation.

The Courier Post has reported that it allegedly involves an adult with the Millville Softball team program and one or more players.

The Courier Post also confirmed that several Millville High School softball players have been interviewed (earlier this month).

A Millville High School Facebook Page has a comment about two recent practices cancelled and that Millville High allegedly forfeited last Friday’s game versus Egg Harbor Township.

Millville is currently in the midst of an 8-9 season. Still left on their schedule is a game (this upcoming Thursday) at St. Joseph Academy at 4:00 p.m.

Millville also has a home game versus Cedar Creek and a regular season game at Mainland Regional High School on Tuesday, May 23, 2023.

Whether or not they will play again this season remains in doubt at this time.

The Courier Post has not been able to make contact with the Millville High School Superintendent, Athletic Director or the head coach.

We have also been unable to reach anyone at Millville High School, as the school is presently closed at the time we are publishing this report.

The Millville High School head softball coach is Brooke Ewan-Dixon, who has led the team for 20 years.

Ewan-Dixon has 283 career wins and was a star player during her career at Millville High School.

This is a developing story. We will provide updates as we receive more information.
