Dilapidated Motel in Egg Harbor Twp., NJ, Becoming New Apartment Complex
An old motel in Egg Harbor Township, not too far from Atlantic City International Airport, is getting a new lease on life.
But if you are expecting this property to reopen as an inn for weary travelers, you're in for a bit of a surprise.

The seemingly abandoned, dilapidated Courtesy Inn on Tilton Road near the Atlantic City Expressway overpass is becoming an apartment complex.
The sprawling plot of land — nearly five acres — with about half a dozen buildings, 90 motel rooms, and an in-ground pool had been vacant for quite some time.

Work Underway
Over the past several months, workers have been busy remodeling the entire property.

All of the buildings appear to have been recently painted with new roofs installed.
When Can I Move In?
The complex, soon to be called Harbor Apartments, has a sign posted along Tilton Road featuring a website...
...however, that site does not offer any information as to when rentals will begin or how much the new studio or one-bedroom apartments will cost. You can, though, join their email list for the latest information.
