
Here’s Why Atlantic City Had a Water Problem Wednesday
If you live, work, or play in Atlantic City, you may have noticed a big lack of water pressure Wednesday - or, no water at all.
According to city officials, residents in the Chelsea Heights are noticed the water trouble first, and the problem was quickly pinpointed - a contractor working on the Albany Avenue Bridge broke into a 36" submerged water main.
At a news conference, officials said pressure was water supposed to be restored city-wide overnight (please comment if you're still having difficulty).
It's stressed that they never was a problem with water quality, and the water in Atlantic City is absolutely safe.
