The Old Farmer's Almanac is out with their predictions for the winter ahead in South Jersey and if you liked last winter...

...you'll really love this winter, assuming they are correct. Think back about eight months -- temperatures here in South Jersey were frequently in the single digits, we had lots of snow, and it didn't warm-up all that quickly as we got closer to spring.

The Old Farmers Almanac says not only will this winter be cold -- it'll be "super cold." Here's their official prognostication for our region...

Winter will be colder and slightly wetter than normal, with above-normal snowfall. The coldest periods will be in late December and early and mid-January. The snowiest periods will be in mid- and late December, mid-January, and early to mid-February.

The first day of winter is Sunday, December 21st... until then, enjoy the summer!
