Atlantic County, New Jersey, Clerk Joe Giralo has crafted an important vote-by-mail notice for the upcoming November 3, 2026 General Election.
Recent United States Supreme Court Ruling
In a 6-3 decision, The United States Supreme Court ruled in favor of a President Donald Trump executive order; However, SCOTUS hasn’t completely decided the issue of vote-by-mail balloting.
Atlantic County Clerk Joe Giralo

To avoid any confusion regarding the vote-by-mail process in Atlantic County, Giralo has written a definitive communication on the subject.
Giralo wrote the following:
The Atlantic County Clerk's Office is aware of recent federal developments concerning mail-in voting and understands that these developments have raised questions among Atlantic County voters. At this time, there are no changes to Atlantic County's Vote-by-Mail process for the November 3, 2026 General Election, wrote Giralo.
Giralo Has Confirmed The Following:

The Atlantic County Clerk’s Office will continue preparing and processing Vote-by-Mail ballots in accordance with current New Jersey.
They intend to follow the established election schedule. Vote-by-Mail ballots are scheduled to be mailed beginning on September 19, 2026.
All voters who are currently enrolled to receive a Vote-by-Mail ballot — you do not have to take any action at this time.
