Kobe Bryant Dies in Helicopter Crash

In shocking news, Kobe Bryant has died at age 41 in a private helicopter crash in Calabasas, California, along with eight other people, including his 13-year-old daughter.

Bryant was the NBA, 3rd all-time leading scorer until last night, when LeBron James passed him versus The Philadelphia 76ers.

Several media outlets have reported that they were flying aboard Bryant’s own helicopter.
The helicopter crashed this morning at about 10:00 a.m. Pacific time in reported foggy conditions.

Bryant was drafted into the NBA right out of High School in the 1996 draft.

The cause of the crash is under investigation. Bryant was reportedly aboard a Sikorsky S-76 helicopter, considered very reliable and safe equipment.
