Kuwaiti Man Charged With Abusive Sexual Contact on NJ-bound Flight
A Kuwaiti man appeared in federal court on Friday on a charge that he allegedly improperly touched a female passenger on a flight to Newark Liberty International Airport late last year.
Federal authorities say while 18-year-old Hasan Naser Hussain Alenezi was on a flight that departed from Los Angeles on November 27th, he intentionally sat next to a female passenger who he did not know.
While not in his assigned seat, "Alenezi repeatedly touched her groin and leg without her permission."
Alenezi is facing one county of abusive sexual contact on an airplane.
Following an initial court appearance, he was released on a $100,000 unsecured bond with home detention and GPS monitoring.
The public is reminded that charges are accusations and all persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
