Lake Lenape Triathlon to Close Roads Saturday Morning

The Lake Lenape Triathlon is set for Saturday morning and several roads in Mays Landing will be impacted.

According to Hamilton Township Police, the triathlon is scheduled from 8 to 11AM. Only local residents and business patrons will be allowed access to the following roads during the event:

• Weymouth Road from Rt. 606 (Old Harding Hwy) to Mizpah Road
• Mizpah Road to Sheppard Ave
• Sheppard Ave
• West Point Ave
• Railroad Blvd from West Point Ave. to Melvin Newton Blvd.
• Melvin Newton Blvd from Railroad Blvd to West Point Ave.
• Route 606 (Old Harding Highway) east of Reading Ave
• Mill Street in the area of Route 606 (Old Harding Highway)

Anyone travelling to Atlantic County Park West during the triathlon will need to take Route 40 to Mill Street and turn left on to Route 606 (Old Harding Highway), according to police.
