Residents, businesses and visitors have been impatiently waiting for an Atlantic City, New Jersey, Atlantic Avenue road paving project to be completed.

Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small has successfully cobbled together the many millions of dollars required to complete the much-needed road repaving — including $ 10 million secured by United States Congressman Jeff Van Drew, who worked closely with Small and Atlantic City government to get the job done.

It is important to note that Van Drew worked directly with President Donald Trump to achieve the $ 10 million in federal funding that is directly targeted for Atlantic City road repairs.

Mayor Small Has Had A Strategy

For those who don’t think so, Mayor Small has had a strategy to repave Atlantic Avenue.

The Small strategy was to obtain as much outside funding as possible, so as not to negatively impact the taxpayers of Atlantic City.

This took time, along with proper timing — the road repairs can only take place when the roads are warm enough to make repairs — yet, to also not interfere with the summer season.

The many millions of dollars required to complete this much-needed project appear to be in place.

Small will confirm this and many other pertinent details this Monday morning at his press conference.
