One candidate has led throughout the selection process to become the next Governor of New Jersey.

In the newest sampling of public opinion - his already commanding lead - has expanded, according to a Rutgers-Eagleton survey released yesterday.

Republican candidate Jack Ciattarelli has a 30-point lead with 42 percent of the vote.

Former radio talk show host Bill Spadea is a distant second on the Republican side with just 12 percent.

The remaining Republicans are ranked as follows:

  • New Jersey State Senator Jon Bramnick (4 percent).
  • Contractor Justin Barbera (3 percent).
  • Former Englewood Cliffs Mayor Mario Kranjac, who has worked very hard in the Republican Primary election has finished with an unfathomable 0 percent of the vote.

WOW! KRANJAC IS AT 0 PERCENT

Kranjac’s 0 percent performance demonstrates just how hard it is to become known in the state of New Jersey.

New Jersey is the most densely populated state in the nation, with more than 9 million residents.

All of the hard work that the front runner Jack Ciattarelli has done over the years is paying off big time.

Ciattarelli does not fatigue and he simply can’t be out worked by anyone.

SPADEA TRASHING OF TRUMP IS COMING BACK TO HAUNT HIS CAMPAIGN

Ciattarelli and separate independent groups have defined Spadea as a fraudulent candidate, who has lined his own self interests with campaign cash.

Thats bad, but, even more damaging, they have played Spadea (in his own voice) trashing President Trump … saying such things as “Trump should have resigned “ … “I didn’t want Trump to run for President, again” … “Three Reasons Trump’s Presidency failed” … "He's beaten. He's tired. He would have been better off resigning the office ... Pray that we eventually elect a president with the strength, courage and commitment to the Constitution and the American way of life to ignore the polls, the optics and the haters and be tough enough to fight.”

These are direct words from Spadea that are devastating to his already failed campaign. In a Republican Primary Election in 2025, these unambiguous, hyper critical comments against President Trump are politically fatal.

DEMOCRAT RACE IS CLOSE

On the Democrat side, it’s a much closer race as follows:

  • United States Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill - 17 percent.
  • Outgoing Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop is at 12 percent. Fulop is currently dealing with an Atlantic City subpoena, requesting 10 years worth of political and campaign information
  • New Jersey Education Association President Sean Spiller - 10 percent.
  • United States Congressman Josh Gottheimer and Newark Mayor Ras Baraka are both at 9 percent.
  • Former State Senate President Steve Sweeney is on the Democrat side at 7 percent.
