Lucky 13: Another Day With No COVID Deaths in Atlantic County
The 14th day of August marks the 13th consecutive day of no COVID-related deaths reported in Atlantic County.
While no new deaths were reported by health officials, there were 27 new positive cases of the virus in Atlantic County between 13 men (ages 3 to 78) and 14 women (ages 12 to 63).
As of today, 3,752 county residents have been confirmed for COVID-19; 2,262 have been cleared as recovered.
241 people have died. The last two fatalities were reported on August 1st -- two men from Hammonton, one 67-years-old and the other 84.
Atlantic County will continue to provide COVID-19 testing at the public works facility on Route 9 in Northfield each Tuesday in August from 9:00 to 11:30 AM.
