Man dies 14 months after being assaulted, robbed in Camden, NJ
Detectives are investigating an assault in Camden early last year that resulted in the victim’s death this past Monday.
The Camden County Prosecutor's Office says on the night of January 11th, 2023, officers responded to the area of Baird Boulevard and Langham Avenue in Camden for a report of an unconscious male.
The victim, later identified as 48-year-old Luis A. Santos of Camden, was taken to Cooper University Hospital for treatment.
Upon further investigation, it was determined that Santos was assaulted and robbed.
Santos remained hospitalized until this past Monday when he died from his injuries.
Authorities say this investigation is active and ongoing at this time.
