
Man Lured 13-Year-Old Boy to Atlantic City, NJ, for Sexual Purpose
The Atlantic City, New Jersey Prosecutor’s Office has confirmed that a Pleasantville man has been sentenced for luring a 13-year-old boy to Atlantic City for a sexual purpose
The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office has released the following information:
On Thursday, October 24, 2024, Javier Erazo, 21, of Pleasantville, NJ, was sentenced to a four-year term in New Jersey State Prison by the Honorable Dorothy Incarvito-Garrabrant, J.S.C. following his plea of guilty to Luring (Enticing a Child by Various Means). Upon his release from prison, the defendant will be placed on Parole Supervision for Life and be required to register as an offender under Megan's Law. The investigation began when the Atlantic City Police Department received information on June 25, 2024, that Erazo was traveling to an Atlantic City park to meet up with a 13-year-old girl that he met on Snapchat for purposes of engaging in sexual activity. Upon arrival, the Atlantic City Police Department observed Erazo with the 13-year-old girl. Erazo later admitting to engaging in sexually explicit chat with the 13-year-old girl via Snapchat and Roblox, with the intention of engaging in sexual relations with her. Erazo subsequently was charged with Luring (Enticing a Child by Various Means) and pled guilty on August 22, 2024.
