Sieg had previously served in numerous roles in positions of increasing responsibility over many years, including Vice President of Marketing.

Sieg joined the Atlantic City Convention and Visitor’s Authority in March, 1998.

Sieg possesses more than 30 years of experience in all areas of the tourism, hospitality and destination marketing industries with his most recent position as Director of Marketing and Communications for the CRDA. Sieg is a great team player and consensus builder. He has a great knowledge of tourism related attractions and all industries within the Greater Atlantic City region.

Sieg also has developed great contacts and has built impeccable relationships with key stakeholders around the Country.

Sieg has led the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority’s marketing, graphic communications, visitors services, marketing partnerships, digital marketing and events management initiatives.

Sieg also was directly responsible for: the planning, execution and participation in tradeshows, conventions and sales missions, as well as sales office representation in the United Kingdom and Canada.

This is a critical time in Atlantic City history. Executive Director Matt Doherty and the CRDA Executive Board was so smart in having the vision to select a talented local executive for this key position.

The Atlantic City market can be very difficult to come in from the outside and effectively master. There is a uniqueness about The World’s Play Ground.

Sieg replaces Jim Wood after his departure (after he served 5 distinguished years) from the agency at the end of 2019.

“We are excited to welcome Larry to Meet AC,” said Meet AC Board Chairman, Matt Doherty. “Larry brings almost 30 years of work experience in the tourism, sales and hospitality industry, and will be proactive in promoting Atlantic City as a premier destination for meetings, conventions and leisure group travel,” said Doherty.

Sieg is highly qualified to take over the top spot during a critical tipping point. He’s ready to hit the ground running, with no learning curve required. Sieg holds a bachelor’s degree and he possesses numerous certifications and credentials in the tourism and hospitality industries and the graphic design field.

“Meet AC is thrilled to welcome Larry to lead our team,” said Meet AC’s Sandi Harvey, Vice President of Sales. “He possesses tremendous knowledge of the travel and tourism industry.”

“Being someone who lives, works and plays in Atlantic City, I understand it has always been a place of great importance regionally,” Sieg said. "I look forward to the challenge we face as we settle into a new normal and have our destination be top of mind for meeting planners throughout the country.”

Sieg officially begins his new position on Monday, July 13, 2020.

NOTE: Sieg will be our guest on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at 9:35 a.m. on WPG Talk Radio 95.5, “Hurley in the Morning,” in his first interview since being promoted.
