New Jersey & America: Spirit Air CEO Sends Important Update
At 9:40 p.m. last night, Ted Christie, CEO of Spirit Air sent an email to advise customers that Spirit Air has completed its financial restructuring.
I am a long-time, satisfied Spirit Air customer. We fly as a family at least 4 or more times each and every year.
I have always felt that Spirit Air has gotten a bad rap.
We love the convenience and service that is available at Atlantic City International Airport.
In Christie’s email last night, he wrote:
Today is an exciting day for Spirit as we begin the next phase of our journey. I'm pleased to share that Spirit has officially completed our financial restructuring, which will help us continue our investment in your travel experience, wrote Christie.
Spirit Air serves the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
“We're grateful for your trust and support throughout our restructuring process,” said Christie.
We absolutely love the fact that we can fly from Atlantic City International Airport to Orlando, Florida in such a convenient way.
I have written many articles about Spirit Air. We appreciate that we don’t have to drive to Philadelphia.
The TSA process at Atlantic City International Airport is always outstanding.
We have been flying as a family to Orlando for decades.
From a reliability standpoint, Spirit Air almost always comes through. I can only think of a few times that we have been delayed for an extended time period.
Before Spirit Air commenced with its recently completed financial restructuring plan, they attempted to merge with other existing airlines.
The federal government would not approve reasonable merger requests. The current government leadership would likely have approved the previous merger(s).
This forced Spirit Air to make tough decisions, such as the Atlantic City hub.
Despite all of the government forced headwinds, Spirit Air has emerged stronger and leaner.
You may find this hard to believe, however, Spirit Air was recently ranked the # 2 airline in America for reliability and customer satisfaction … where they jumped ahead of Delta Airlines.
Spirit Air continues to serve many communities, such as the Atlantic City area.
We are very fortunate to have Atlantic City International Airport and Spirit Air.
Thank you ACY and Spirit Air, we appreciate you.
Below are some amazing photos of great airplanes that have flown in the annual Atlantic City Airshow, “Thunder Over The Boardwalk.”
