Gov. Phil Murphy has give permission for all municipal and private-club swimming pools to reopen.

The announcement on Murphy's official Facebook page comes just ahead of today's press briefing where Murphy plans to provide more specific details about pools reopening beginning Monday, June 22nd amid coronavirus, according to Patch.com.

Murphy will reportedly lay out guidelines, procedures, and protocols for pools to safely welcome back swimmers.

Of the reopening Murphy stated, "We know a lot of people have been waiting for their ability to get back into the water. We don't blame them."

According to the Centers for Disease Control, COVID-19 is unlikely to spread in pools where the water is treated with chlorine and bromine.
