BREAKING NEWS

We have been talking on-air about a Ferry ride from New York City to Atlantic City, New Jersey for more than 35 years.

We have learned that discussions are presently underway to make it happen, beginning Memorial Day Weekend, 2027.

This would be a helpful response to casino gaming coming to New York City.

The Meeting took place at Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small's office. It was a "Who's Who" gathering -- Mayor Small, his Cabinet, casino owners -- executives , DEEM Enterprise representatives and other key stakeholders.

Tommy Carr shared the following details with me as follows:

A main topic was the implementation of a Ferry ride from New York City to Atlantic City. The trip will take 2 1/2 hours (dock-to-dock) and it will leave passengers at The Farley State Marina at The Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino Atlantic City.

Ground transportation will then be provided to all casinos and local restaurants, etc.

It will be called The Sea Streak Ferry, capable of holding 600 passengers. If this effort is successful, the company is willing to build an additional Ferry that is a higher speed model -- capable of making the trip in just 2 hours. .

You can't drive to New York City to Atlantic City in that amount of time. A round trip will cost $ 150.

The Ferry will operate from The Farley Marina at the Golden Nugget Hotel Casino. There will be transportation to all casinos and restaurants.

DEEM Enterprises Mike Binder, CEO, Dan Gallagher and Tommy Carr are very excited about the proposed Ferry service to and from New York City to Atlantic City.

If the project can come to fruition, it will be called -- Intercoastal Motor Car and Yacht Club.

It will feature a community of 1400 high-end residential units, a car museum, a certified Formula One racetrack.

To dispel rumors, under there plan -- there will not be Formula One races at Bader Field.
